Once upon a time, in a cozy house, there lived two close friends, Cat and Dog. They shared a room and were always playing together. One day, after a tiring play session outside, they returned to their room feeling hungry.
“Hey Cat, do you see that big cake over there?” Dog asked, pointing excitedly.
“Yeah, I see it. But whose cake is it?” Cat wondered aloud.
“I don’t know, but since it’s in our room, maybe it’s for me,” Dog suggested eagerly.
“No way, maybe it’s for me!” Cat countered.
They couldn’t agree, so they decided to split the cake. “Let’s just divide it and enjoy,” Cat proposed.
“That’s a good idea, let’s do it,” Dog replied.
After dividing the cake, they both ate it hungrily. But just as they finished, a big bulldog stood in front of them.
“Hey Cat and Dog, how’s it going?” the bulldog greeted them. “I’ve been looking for my cake. Have you seen it?”
Cat and Dog froze, feeling guilty. “Um, yes, we did… We ate it,” they confessed nervously.
“Oh, that’s a relief! It was a two-month expired cake anyway,” the bulldog reassured them.
“What!!! Two months expired?” Cat and Dog exclaimed in surprise.
“Oh my goodness, you need to drink a lot of water if you don’t want to get a stomachache now,” the bulldog advised.
The cat and dog both ran in a rush to drink glasses of water, worried they would get sick from eating the expired cake. After returning to their room, they felt calm.
“It’s okay, but remember, you shouldn’t eat something that isn’t yours,” the bulldog advised them kindly.
Realizing their mistake, Cat and Dog apologized to the bulldog. “We’re sorry for eating your cake without asking,” they said sincerely.
“It’s alright. Just remember not to take things that don’t belong to you,” the bulldog replied gently.
Cat and Dog nodded, understanding the lesson. They thanked the bulldog and laughed together, grateful for the funny story and the important lesson they had learned.
